In 2019, Emiliya, a member of Children’s Missionary Outreach in France, joined a team from The Good Seed organisation in the Egyptian district of Bogota. It’s important that you know that Emiliya, who is from Bulgaria, also speaks Spanish, English, French, Norwegian…and…
Emiliya wanted to meet children from South America to tell them of God’s love for them and to let them know more about Jesus. The Good Seed was the perfect place. She met a young woman, Laura, who agreed to translate articles for the http://www.kids-mission.net/?lang=en website, and who lives out her faith working in the Christian centre there.
The children can get involved in various different activities and creative workshops. The team of adults also helps them with their schoolwork, and gives them breakfast and lunch to make sure they are well fed.
The children also meet together to talk about God and to become Jesus’ friends.
When the Covid-19 pandemic started, Emiliya had to leave Colombia, but Laura stayed (WOW!).
Everyone had to wear masks, but the house of the Good Seed was – and still is – open for the children.
