God really does love you so much that he sent Jesus to make your heart as pure and clean as His own.
God will always welcome you.
In His Word, the Bible, Jesus tells us the story of what happened to a young man who took his share of his father’s money and left home. But, after wasting the money on all sorts of things, he had to look after someone else’s pigs (a great shame for a Jewish person).
Then he began to think, and decided to go back to his father, saying, “I have disobeyed God and treated you badly. Please take me back as a worker, not as your son.”
If you have the second half of the Bible – the New Testament – you can read this story to your friends in the gospel of Luke, chapter 15, verses 11 to 24.
Notice though that the father ran to meet his son as soon as he saw him in the distance…and the first think he did was to hug him. Not only was the father watching and waiting for him to come back, he also prepared a huge feast for him. The one who was lost had been found again!
And to you, welcome to your father’s heavenly home. Welcome into the heart of God.
