Do you know what a leap year is? It is a special year with 366 days instead of 365, with one extra day, the 29th February.
Leap-years occur every four years to make sure the earth circles the sun in one complete year. There are clever calculations that show this to be the case.
2020 was a leap year, and the next one is in 2024. So, this year, February has only 28 days!
But it reminds me of something quite fantastic: for God, a day is like a thousand years. God does not count the days as we do. That’s why Jesus said he would be with us always, every day… Until the end of the world.
And after the end of our current world, there will be another world where there are no more days and years. Death will not exist! We will be in Eternity with the Lord. We will be with Jesus forever, in Heaven.
So, welcome again into the heart of God with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
