LUXEMBOURG, April 2017

What a fabulous Sunday!  Eight Evangelical churches met together at the Halle Victor Hugo to celebrate the name of Jesus together.  God is the one who loved us first(so that we can love others).

A choir – made up of Christians from several of the churches – praised God with all their hearts, and the children danced to God’s glory.

The Grow-Up team organised activities for the children during the service.

After Grow-Up had given a presentation of its work to the congregation, the children each joined their own group according to language – French, Luxembourgish, Portuguese, English –  to look at the theme of Being Transformed by the Lord.

The Bible verse on everyone’s lips and hearts that day was from 2 Corinthians 5:17:

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Just as a caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly, and just as Paul of Tarsus, who was an enemy of the first Christians, became Jesus’s servant by teaching the word of God wherever he went, that’s what new life is about!

The Grow-Up team is already preparing the next activity day for children aged 7 to 13, which takes place on Saturday 6 May at the CCR church in Steinsel from 10h00 to 16h30 (please bring lunch!).  You can find out more about it and about Grow-Up by going to their Facebook page or sending an email to growuplux@gmail.com.

Till next time!
