Welcome!
During December, in different countries, it is quite common to see many streets decorated as Christmas approaches.
We have to wait and wait, one day at a time, the evening of the 24th and finally the 25th of December: the coming of Jesus to Bethlehem in Israel.
The angels came to tell the shepherds about it, and the shepherds went to see the baby, born in a stable, God’s son, our saviour. What joy for us all! He had come just as God had promised long ago. God always keeps his promises.

It happened in the past, but we still speak of it today, and we will speak about it tomorrow, and forever.
Christmas is good news that sticks in our memory. We look back and think about friends and family, about gifts we gave and received, and about the good food we had.
And afterwards, we will wait for Christmas next year.

Don’t forget, though, that the feast of Christmas would not exist, if Jesus had not come to Earth.
God makes us a new promise: Jesus will come again to the Earth. But next time he will not come as a little baby, but as a king, the king of kings, and the Lord of lords.
